Clairol Nice 'n Easy has developed a breakthrough conditioning technology. This is specifically designed to help seal in colour and shine for up to 6 weeks. ColourSeal™ Technology holds onto hair colour making it look and feel as though it's freshly coloured.

Hair is protected by a natural coating called the F-layer. The F-layer, present at the surface of each cuticle reduces the damage caused by blow-drying and brushing, by acting as the hair's 'natural' conditioning system.

During the colouring process, some of the protective F-layer is removed and repeated colouring can cause the F-layer to disappear all together. Without its natural conditioner, hair is more susceptible to damage and can feel rough, may be difficult to de-tangle and will look dull.

ColourSeal™ Technology is designed to meet the needs of the hair colourant user. It does this by delivering essential moisture to the hair shaft and boosts protection where the hair's F-layer has been removed. The ColourSeal™ conditioning film lies across the cuticles of the hair to smooth and flatten them, helping to maximise shine and seal in freshly washed colour.

The net result is to smooth roughened surfaces and help align fibres, so that hair feels softer, smoother and more manageable, creating more shine and helping to keep the hair feeling and acting like it does when originally coloured.
